YOUR FIRST DANCE
We offer a variety of options for your first dance - to discuss what will work best for you, we recommend scheduling a call with Rachael so that we can provide personalised advice. So that you can give it a bit of thought in advance, here's a few options to consider:

For a traditional first dance vibe, opt for a couple dance such as the Gay Gordons or St Bernard's Waltz. We'll start with a walkthrough for you and all of your guests to get the hang of it, before asking your guests to step back and let you take the floor for the first few times through

If you'd prefer a bit less pressure, we'd recommend the Virginia Reel as your first dance. The dance is great fun for everybody involved and really easy to pick up. As the head couple, you'll end the dance galloping down the middle of the set to big cheers from your guests

Not a fan of the limelight? The Circassian Circle is a great option for your first dance! With everybody doing the same thing in a circle, there's nobody watching you so you can start your wedding party without any nerves

Prefer to do your first dance to your favourite popular music track, but to live music? Send us your chosen song at least 2 months before your wedding, and Rachael will perform your first song (solo violin with backing track) live at your ceilidh for free as part of your wedding ceilidh package!
